The moment everyone waited for. Hope finishes her trip down the sand and hits the water. Thank you Hope for sharing a little of your time with the humans so that we can learn more about you and work harder to protect your species. Good luck in the Tour de Turtles and beyond!

The 2010 Tour de Turtles saw amazing participation on the beach. An estimated 600 people turned out to send Hope the loggerhead on her way. In an amazing outpouring of love for ecology people from around the country joined together to make the third annual Tour de Turtles an amazing and special event.
